In a discussion with media, Bell expressed his enthusiasm for further exploring the character. Bell also appeared in Saw 10, which achieved tremendous success, earning an impressive score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes and making over $111.8 million while produced on a $13 million budget.

The announcement of the eleventh film was made via an Instagram post that hinted: the game continues. The narrative of Saw 10 takes place between the first two films, depicting John Kramer’s journey to Mexico for a perilous experimental treatment to address his terminal illness.
